Simple, easy to make and delicious pudding with flavor of roses. This is indeed a delightful dessert. Infused with rose flavor and garnished with petals, this indeed is a delectable pudding

Preparation time (incl cooling time) : 5 hours Cooking time: 15 mins Total time: 5 hrs 15 mins

Servings: 8


  • 1 liter full fat milk
  • 2.5 teaspoon rose water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Chopped almonds, pistachios, rose petals to garnish – as required

Steps to prepare:

  • In 1 cup milk, dissolve cornstarch completely
  • Boil remaining milk with sugar and cinnamon on medium heat
  • Simmer the heat, add corn slurry to milk. Mix well until lump free
  • Stir continuously bringing milk to boil over high heat. It will take 2-3 minutes. Switch off the heat.
  • Allow pudding to cool to room temperature
  • Add vanilla extract and rose water to pudding. Mix well.
  • Pour pudding in serving bowls
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4-5 hours
  • Garnish with almonds, pistachios and rose petals. serve cold
