Apples are a great sauce of natural fiber and vitamin C. Applesauce can be used in various desserts as substitute for butter/eggs while baking. It’s easy to make and brings in right flavor when used in desserts

Ingredients
- 4 ripe apples, peeled and cored
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup Sugar optional
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon optional
Steps to prepare
- Peel core and chop apples into small cubes
- Take a pan, add water sugar Cinnamon and apples. If you are going to use this sauce for baking purposes, then it’s best to skip sugar. If you add sugar to sauce then you will end up adjusting sugar content for baking product
- Boil it and allow it to cook on low to medium flame for 15-20 minutes until Apple has become very soft
- Using potato masher or back of big round ladle mash it well
- Cool it, store it in airtight container and refrigerate it. You can keep it for 2 weeks
