Preparation time: 70 mins Servings: 3

  • 2 cups shredded Red Cabbage
  • 1- 1.5 cups shredded Regular Cabbage
  • 2 small – medium Carrots Grated
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Celery
  • 3 tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 80 g Mayonnaise – adjust the quantity
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper or to taste
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Sauce – adjust the quantity
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes – optional

Steps to prepare

  • In a bowl mix mayonnaise, ACV, salt , pepper and mustard sauce with red chili flakes. Mix until well combined. In case you wish to make this more healthier , reduce 50% Mayo quantity with Greek yogurt
  • You can use mix of red and white cabbage or only 1 type cabbage for this salad. I have used both
  • Add all veggies in a bowl. Now gradually add dressing to cabbage and toss well
  • Do not add all dressing at once as we do not want the salad to turn soggy. Cabbage releases water so add dressing as required. If there is any dressing left, it can be used for making sandwiches
  • Refrigerate the salad for 1 hour before serving. You can immediately serve but coleslaw tastes better after resting. Serve cold
