This summer drink something cold and healthy, enjoy this drink anytime of the day. With the onset of summer, mango is one of the tropical fruit easily found everywhere and I believe in consuming seasonal fruits. Both Mango and carrot are rich in nutrients and healthy, this can be consumed as breakfast smoothie too
I have used soft dates to sweeten the smoothie as I am fond of it and used chia seeds to top it up. Ginger helps in digestion so its best to add it. Loaded with nutrients, this is one smoothie you should really try

Ingredients:
- 1 large ripe mango peeled and cubed – chilled
- 1 medium carrot grated
- 3/4 cup low fat milk/ Almond milk
- 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2-3 pitted dates or honey to sweeten -optional
- 1 teaspoon flax seeds/ chia seeds to garnish
Steps to prepare
- Blend all ingredients to form smooth drink. You can add ice cubes if required while blending. I generally never recommend adding as it dilutes the drink , its best to use frozen ingredients rather than adding ice cubes in smoothies
- Pour in cold serving glass and serve immediately
